TDSO operates on a fundamental principle: Cambodian educators developing Cambodian education. Our entire team are Cambodian nationals who understand the education system from within, bring deep cultural knowledge to their work, and are committed to building sustainable capacity in their own country.

Growing Our Own Specialists

You cannot hire experienced teacher trainers and coaches from the market. Professionals with expertise in our TPA methodology and systematic in-service teacher development simply don’t exist ready-made. That’s why we grow our own through what we call the Talent Factory.

We recruit based on attitude, mindset, and foundational qualifications – bachelor’s or master’s degrees from Cambodian and international universities. We then systematically develop these individuals into expert trainers, coaches, and programme leaders through structured internal pathways, external training, mentoring, and progressive responsibility. Many of our team began as classroom teachers themselves, understanding from direct experience the realities teachers face and the context in which they work.

This investment in home-grown expertise ensures our team deeply understands our methodology and can deliver it with consistency and quality. Our 50+ professionals don’t deliver theory from outside the system; they work as embedded partners within it, driving improvement from positions of genuine understanding and shared experience.
